Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") set out the conditions for using the smartphone app "Bokusai" (the "App") provided by MOST LAB (株式会社MOST LAB) ("we"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If this English version differs from the Japanese version, the Japanese version prevails.
1. The App
The App lets you choose your own topic, assign people, things or events to roles, and save or share the lineup as an image.
2. Minors
If you are a minor, please get your parent's or guardian's consent before using the App, including before making any purchase.
3. What you create
- You keep the rights to the lineups you create in the App (including topics, names, notes and photos). We do not collect your lineups.
- When you share a lineup, it is your responsibility to make sure it does not infringe anyone else's rights (copyright, portrait rights, reputation, privacy, etc.).
- The designs, templates, images and software we provide belong to us or their rightful owners. You may not extract or use them except as part of lineups made in the App.
4. Prohibited conduct
- Violating laws or public order and morals
- Creating or sharing lineups to hurt, discriminate against or harass others
- Infringing the rights of others
- Accessing, overloading, modifying or reverse engineering the App or our servers without authorization
- Using paid features or designs without a valid purchase
- Anything else we reasonably consider inappropriate
5. Paid features and designs
- The App offers one-time purchases: "Bokusai Plus" and "design packs". Prices are shown on the purchase screen.
- Purchases and payments are handled by the App Store or Google Play, under their terms.
- Because these are digital goods, we do not accept returns or cancellations after purchase. Refunds follow each store's refund policy.
- If you change devices or reinstall the App, use "Restore purchases" with the same store account to use your purchases again.
- Designs offered free for a limited time (such as trials) may require a purchase to export after the period ends.
6. Ads
Free users see ads in the App. Advertisers are responsible for their ads, and we do not guarantee the products or services advertised.
7. Your data
Your lineups and other data are stored only on your device. If they are lost due to device failure, loss or deleting the App, we cannot recover them. Please use Settings > Backup to keep your own copy.
8. Changes to or suspension of the App
We may change, suspend or end the App, with notice or, in an emergency, without notice.
9. Limitation of liability
- We do not guarantee that the App is free of defects or fits your purpose.
- Except in cases of our intent or gross negligence, our liability for any damage arising from your use of the App is limited to the amount you paid in the App in the month the damage occurred.
- You are responsible for resolving any dispute with others that arises from sharing your lineups.
10. Exclusion of antisocial forces
You represent that you are not, and are not associated with, an organized crime group or other antisocial force. If this is not true, we may stop your use of the App without notice.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms in accordance with the Civil Code of Japan. Before a change takes effect, we will announce its content and effective date in the App or on this page.
12. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found invalid under law, the rest remains in effect.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The district court with jurisdiction over our head office has exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance over any dispute about the App.
